Day 1: Darjeeling

Arrive Bagdogra airport/ New Jalpaiguri railway station. Transfer to Darjeeling (90 kms / 2.5 hrs) & proceed to hotel.

Day 2: Darjeeling

Early morning visit Tiger Hills to witness the spectacular sunride over Kanchanjunga mountains. Return to your Hotel visiting the famous Ghoom Monastery en-route. This afternoon you visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the Himalayan Zoo & the Botanical Gardens. Your tour ends with a visit to the famous Darjeeling Tea Gardens.

Day 3: Darjeeling

This Morning you visit to the stunning Mirik Lake. The rest of the day at leisure or you may enjoy an optional joy ride on the world famous Darjeeling hill train.

Day 4: Darjeeling - Gangtok

Today you will be transferred by road to Gangtok (98 kms/3 hrs) the capital of Sikkim

Day 5: Gangtok

Proceed on a days excursion to the Scenic Tsomgo (Changu) Lake situated at an altitude of 12000 feet on the Nathu La highway that leads to China.  ( You may visit Nathu La Pass subject to permission with a supplementary cost)

Day 6: Gangtok

This morning you will visit the Rumtek Monastery, the largest Monastery in Sikkim & the seat of Karma Kagyu lineage. Later visit the Research Institute of Tibetology, & a Buddist Monastery

Day 7: Gangtok - Kalimpong

Morning drive to Kalimpong (77 kms / 23 hrs) situated in the banks of the River Tista at an altitude of 1250 mtrs. Late afternoon visit to the monasteries & flower nurseries.

Day 8: Depart Kalimpong

Transfer to Bagdogra airport/  New Jalpaiguri railway station(127 kms/ 4 hrs).
